R-84-52 <br />RESOl-UTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINAL ASSESSMENT FOR <br />THE 1983 AND 1984 SEALCOATING STREET <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required b\ <br />Minnesota Statute 429 of the City of Lake Elmo City Council has met and <br />heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br />1983 and 1984 City wide sealcoating improvments within the said City. <br />NOW, THEREOFRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Lake Elmo as follows to wit: <br />1. The proposed assessments, a copy of which is attached hereto <br />and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute a <br />special assessment against the lands named therein and each tract of <br />land therein included is hereby found to be benefitted by the proposed <br />improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br />2. Such assessments shall be paid over a period of one year and <br />shall bear interest at a rate o4 lO%. <br />3. The owner of any property so assessed may at any time prior <br />to the certification of this assessment to the County Auditor pay the <br />whole amount of such property without any interest being charged if the <br />entire assessment is paid before October lO, 1984 and may at any time <br />thereafter pay the City Treasurer the entire amount of this assessment <br />remaining unpaid with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in <br />which such payment is made. Such payment must be made before October 10 <br />or interest will be charged through December 31 of the succeeding year. <br />4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of <br />these assessments to the County Auditor to be extended on the property <br />tax list of the County and such assessment shall be collected and paid <br />over the some Aanmer as other municipal taxes. <br />ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, Washington <br />County, Minnesota this 4th day of September, 1984. <br />/7 � <br />SIGNED:e&�-. _�� <br />maynad L.
