R^-84~26 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />FOR THE 1984 M.B.A. IMPROVEMENTS AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant <br />to R-84-24, <br />passed <br />by the <br />City <br />Council on March 6, 1984, <br />the City Engineer <br />has <br />prepared <br />plans <br />and specifications for the <br />1984 M.B.A. <br />Improvment <br />Project <br />and <br />presented such plans and specifications <br />to the City <br />Council <br />for <br />approval" <br />NOW, THEREFORE' BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the City of Lake Elmo as follows: <br />1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which <br />is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are <br />hereby approved subject to the Soil Conservation <br />Service recommendation on the drainage. <br />2" The City Clerk shall declare and cause to be <br />inserted in the official City newspaper and such <br />/ other publications as shall be deemed appropriate <br />an advertisement for bids upon the making of such <br />improvements under such approved plans and <br />specifications" The advertisement shall be <br />published, shall specify the work to be done, <br />shall state that bids shall be opened on May 9, <br />1984: at 10:00 a.m" in the Lake Elmo City Council <br />Chambers and shall be considered by the City <br />Council at 8:00 P.M. on May 15, 1984, in the <br />Council Chambers of the Lake Elmo City Hall" <br />3. No bid shall be considered unless signed and <br />sealed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash <br />deposit/ cashiers check, bid bond or certified <br />check payable to the Clerk for 5% of the amount of <br />such bond" <br />^ <br />ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo <br />this 3rd day of April, 1984.
