R84- 31 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIF.I.CATIONS <br />FOR THE JANE ROAD NORTH IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR }SIDS. <br />$5 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to R-.W-73, passed by the City Council on <br />December 6, 1983, the City Engineer has prepared plans and <br />specifications for the Jane Road North Improvement Project and <br />presented such plans and specifications to the City Council for <br />approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the <br />City of Lake Elmo as .follows: <br />1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is <br />attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby <br />approved. <br />2. The City Clerk shall declare and cause to be <br />inserted in the official City newspaper and such <br />other publications as shall be deemed appropriate an <br />advertisement for bids upon the making of such <br />improvements under such approved plans and <br />specifications. The advertisement shall. b� <br />published, shall specify the work to be done, shall <br />state that bids shall be opened on May 9, 1984, at <br />10:00 a.m. in the Lake Elmo City Council Chambers and <br />shall be considered by the City Council at 8:00 p.m. <br />on,May 15, 1984 in the Council Chambers of the Lake <br />Elmo City Hall. <br />3. No bid shall be considered unless signed and <br />sealed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash <br />deposit, cashiers check, bid bond or certified check <br />payable to the Clerk for 5% of the amount of such <br />bond. <br />ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo this <br />17th day of April, 1984. <br />SIGNED:. <br />Maynard L.
