R-84-35 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE WASTE -TO -ENERGY BOARD TO <br />HOLD AN INFORMATIONAL MEETING WITH THE LAND OWNERS IN <br />SECTION 32. <br />WHEREAS, County Commissioner A. B. Schaefer, Jr., who is a <br />Waste -to -Energy Board member, appeared before the Lake Elmo City <br />Council on May l, 1984, to up -date the City of Lake Elmo on <br />current Washington County activities, including the Waste -to - <br />Energy project; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Waste -to -Energy Project has progressed very <br />slowly the past year and its current status remains in question; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the Waste -to -Energy Project is planned to be <br />located in Section 32 in Lake Elmo! and, <br />WHEREAS, the property owners in Section 32 are also planning <br />on the Waste -to -Energy Plant being located in this section; and, <br />WHEREAS, the precise location and timing of the Waste -to - <br />Energy Plant has a major impact on the property owners in Section <br />32; and, <br />WHEREAS, it has been an extended length of time since the <br />last informational meeting was held between the Waste -to -Energy <br />Project Board and the land owners in Section 32. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Lake Elmo that the Waste -to -Energy Board is hereby <br />formally requested to hold an informational meeting with the <br />property owners in Section 32 in order to provide these <br />individuals with a status report on the current situation and <br />future plans of the Waste -to -Energy Project. <br />ADOPTED this the lst day of May, 1984, by the City Council <br />of the City of Lake Elmo, Washington County, Minnesota. <br />SIGNED: <br />Raynatp L.
