s 4) , B , <br />�f <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />FEBRUARY 18, 1986 <br />Mayor Morgan called the City Council meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />in the City Council Chambers. Present: Armstrong, Dunn, Mazzara, <br />Christ, City Administrator Overby, City Engineer Bohrer, and City <br />Attorney Knaak. <br />1. Agenda <br />Delete 10A. Bids received for dump truck, underbody plow, sander <br />and reversible snow plow. Add 11A. Respect for Lake Elmo <br />Citizen's Privacy. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Morgan - to approve the agenda for the February 18, <br />1986 City Council meeting as amended. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />2. Minutes: February 4, 1986 <br />M/S/P Dunn/Armstrong - to approve the February 4, 1986 City <br />Council Minutes as presented. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />3. Claims <br />Dunn questionned Claim #87042 - Eckberg „ Lammers, Briggs - legal <br />letter to auditor as to why we didn't use our legal firm. As to <br />Claim #87062 Minn. Good Roads and #87071 AWWA, Dunn would like the <br />City Administrator toscrutinize these memberships and see what <br />each membership is worth. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Christ - to approve the February 18,1986 Claims 87032 <br />thru 87088 as presented. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />4. Public Inquiries <br />There were no public inquiries. <br />5. Opening Ceremony for Regional Park - Gary Horning <br />The opening ceremony is scheduled for June 21, 1986. The opening <br />social hour will be at 9:00 a.m. and the festivities will start at <br />10:00 a.m. There will be a fishing contest for the kids, a <br />marathon for bike riders, and horseback riders. Mayor Morgan was <br />asked to be a guest speaker and the City was asked if they would <br />like to share in any of the expenses (they estimate about $1,000 <br />in expenses). They estimate about 500-1,000 people at the opening <br />ceremony. The swimming facility will be available and some of the <br />picnic grounds, camping area and the group shelter will be open. <br />There will not be a charge for the opening day, but there will be <br />a $2 daily charge or, a $10 seasonal charge for a 21 month sticker. <br />6.
