LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES APRIL 7, 1987 Acting Mayor Rosemary Armstrong called the City Council meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. in the City Council chambers. Present: Armstrong, Moe, Graves, Johnson, City Engineer Bohrer, C-i-t-y---P-1-an-ne-r—Rob-Che-l-seth-; City Attorney Steve Carlson and City Administrator Overby. Absent: Mayor Arlyn Christ 1. Agenda Add: 10B. Asphalt Mixing Plant on Ag Zoned Land M/S/P Graves/Johnson - to approve the agenda for the April 7, 1987 City Council meeting as amended. (Motion carried 4-0). 2. Minutes: March 17, 1987 M/S/P Graves/Johnson - to approve the March 17, 1987 City Council meeting minutes as presented. (Motion carried 4-0). 3. Claims M/S/P Graves/Johnson - to approve the April 7, 1987 City Council claims 088584 thru #88654 as presented. -(Motion carried 4-0). 4. Parks Commission Appointments There are three vacancies on the Parks Commission: one regular voting member and two alternate non -voting members. Three applications have been received and are attached for your review: 1. Dan Trauscht 5130 Jamaca Blvd. Applied 9-13-86 2. Mark Busta 8810 27th Street Ct. Applied 3-16-87 3. Sharon Simpson 5270 Jamaca Blvd. N. Applied 3-21-87 M/S/P Graves/Moe - to change the status of Gloria Knoblauch and Scotty Lyall from First and Second Alternates, respectively, to regular voting member status on the Lake Elmo Parks Commission. (Motion carried 4-0). M/S/P Graves/Moe - to appoint to the Lake Elmo Parks Commission (based on the application dates) Dan Tauscht as the new regular voting membr, Mark Busta as a First Alternate Member and Sharon Simpson as a Second Alternate Member. (Motion carried 4-0). Dan Trauscht was unable to attend the meeting, but Mark Busta and Sharon Simpson were present. The City Council welcomed them to the Parks Commission and thanked them for their interest.
