LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />APRIL 7, 1987 <br />Acting Mayor Rosemary Armstrong called the City Council meeting to <br />order at 7:02 p.m. in the City Council chambers. Present: Armstrong, <br />Moe, Graves, Johnson, City Engineer Bohrer, C-i-t-y---P-1-an-ne-r—Rob-Che-l-seth-; <br />City Attorney Steve Carlson and City Administrator Overby. Absent: <br />Mayor Arlyn Christ <br />1. Agenda <br />Add: 10B. Asphalt Mixing Plant on Ag Zoned Land <br />M/S/P Graves/Johnson - to approve the agenda for the April 7, 1987 <br />City Council meeting as amended. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />2. Minutes: March 17, 1987 <br />M/S/P Graves/Johnson - to approve the March 17, 1987 City Council <br />meeting minutes as presented. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />3. Claims <br />M/S/P Graves/Johnson - to approve the April 7, 1987 City Council <br />claims 088584 thru #88654 as presented. -(Motion carried 4-0). <br />4. Parks Commission Appointments <br />There are three vacancies on the Parks Commission: one regular voting <br />member and two alternate non -voting members. <br />Three applications have been received and are attached for your <br />review: <br />1. <br />Dan Trauscht <br />5130 <br />Jamaca Blvd. <br />Applied <br />9-13-86 <br />2. <br />Mark Busta <br />8810 <br />27th Street Ct. <br />Applied <br />3-16-87 <br />3. <br />Sharon Simpson <br />5270 <br />Jamaca Blvd. N. <br />Applied <br />3-21-87 <br />M/S/P Graves/Moe - to change the status of Gloria Knoblauch and Scotty <br />Lyall from First and Second Alternates, respectively, to regular <br />voting member status on the Lake Elmo Parks Commission. (Motion <br />carried 4-0). <br />M/S/P Graves/Moe - to appoint to the Lake Elmo Parks Commission (based <br />on the application dates) Dan Tauscht as the new regular voting membr, <br />Mark Busta as a First Alternate Member and Sharon Simpson as a Second <br />Alternate Member. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />Dan Trauscht was unable to attend the meeting, but Mark Busta and <br />Sharon Simpson were present. The City Council welcomed them to the <br />Parks Commission and thanked them for their interest. <br />
