McNamara felt this was <br />still meeting the intent of our code. <br />M/S/P Graves/Moe - to table this request until the Building Official <br />receives a verification of the legal description from the county and <br />that Mr. Bjornson submits a building permit showing the structural <br />modifications that will attach the new garage to the existing house. <br />The Council would then consider a variance to the existing structure <br />based on the fact that it is 10 acres in size. The Building Official <br />will make sure that this requirement is met. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />B. Conditional Use Permit Reviews <br />Building Official Jim McNamara reviewed in his leMr dated December <br />22, 1987 the following Conditional Use Permits which are requesting <br />renewal for 1988. <br />1. Shafer Mining <br />2. Breheim Kennel <br />3. Cimarron Golf Course <br />4. Country Sun Farm <br />5. Oakdale Gun Club <br />6. Meadow Mill Kennel <br />7. Oakwood Animal Hospital <br />8. Animal Inn <br />9. Animal Inn Training School <br />10. Lauseng Stone <br />11. Leonard Hanson Trailer Sales <br />12. Vali Hi Drive In <br />13. Green Acres Inc. <br />14. Howard Gelb, Trans City Investments <br />The Conditional Use Permit for Trans City Investments has dropped two <br />of the previous businesses and added three others. The three <br />additions are: <br />1. Gerald Baber, Elect. Cont. Office <br />2. Roger Madland, Warehousing and Truck Brokerage <br />a. Max of 6 parking spaces <br />b. Total 6200 sq.ft. <br />3. Michael Schack, Silk Screening on glass <br />Bids have been taken on the required new septic system; however, the <br />installation has not been completed at the time. McNamara felt the <br />change of tenants does not appear to affect the Conditional Use Permit. <br />Jim McNamara recommended approval of the above Conditional Use <br />Permits, but due to the legal implications with the Armstrong CUP and <br />the Hammes Mining CUP, he feels they should be dealt with separately. <br />The City Staff has recently learned that it is not necessary or <br />appropriate for the City to take action each year to renew the <br />existibg,,Condi:tionai' Use Permits in hake Elmo.
