Section 902.03 of the <br />Subdivision Ord. defines the required dedication for a new <br />subdivision to be 10% of the market value of land prior to <br />subdivision. <br />The present market value of the land (57.81 acres)_as <br />based on the 1978 tax statement is $ 42497. This value ex" <br />cludes the market value of the house and farm buildings. <br />The value includes the 2.51 acre tract which was sold to <br />Stillwater School Dist. No. 834. The $ 42497 (area exclud- <br />c- 57.81 <br />ing T.N. 212 and Co.Rd. 17 easements)= $ 735.12 per acre. <br />The remaining balance of land is 57.81 - 2.51 (school tract) <br />= 55.30 acres. At $ 735.12 per acre times 55.30 acres times <br />10% = $ 4065.21 park dedication. <br />A check in that amount is enclosed.
