RESOLUTION 88-22 <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING ELECTION OF PATRICIA MORRISON TO <br />BE EXCLUDED FROM THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT ASSOCIATION <br />WHEREAS, Patricia Morrison has notifed the City Council of her <br />election to be excluded from membership in the Public Employees <br />Retirement Association and has provided this Council with a copy of her <br />written election to do so all as authorized by Minnesota Statutes <br />353.028. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Lake Elmo as follows: <br />1. The Council makes the following findings: <br />(a) Patricia Morrison is the City Administrator of the <br />City of Lake Elmo, Minnesota. <br />(b) That petition is provided for in the ordinances of <br />the City of Lake Elmo. <br />(c) She was duly appointed to serve in that position <br />effective May 16, 1988. <br />(d) The City Administrator is the chief administrative <br />officer of the City of Lake Elmo. <br />(e) Acting under Minnesota Statutes 353.028, she has <br />elected to be excluded from membership in the Public <br />Employees Retirement Association, effective upon her <br />filing such election with the Executive Director of <br />that association. <br />(f) In making this election, she has agreed that she will <br />not at any time in the future seek any authorization <br />to purchase service credit for any period of excluded <br />service. She has further agreed that this election is <br />irrevocable. <br />2. Said election is therefore approved. <br />3.
