LAKE. ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES JANUARY 3, 1989 PACE 10 <br />D. Proposed Ordinance Amendment: Planning Commission Meetings <br />The City Administrator recommended to Council that the Code be amended <br />to provide that the Planning Commission have only one formal meeting <br />per month (the 4th Monday), and that the second Monday of the month be <br />an informal work session to allow the PZ time to review Concept Plans <br />and concentrate on items in,the work plan. <br />Councilman Williams advised that the Planning Commission should review <br />this amendment and submit their input in writing to the Council before <br />any changes are made by the Council. <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to submit the proposed ordinance amendment to <br />the Planning Commission with written concurrence by the Chairman <br />submitted to the City Administrator by 4-h°e January 17th-meetim - ' <br />(Motion carried 4-0). 26th for the 2/7 meeting. <br />Amended 1/17/89 <br />OTHER: <br />Mayor Dunn advised that the City needs, and encourages, communication <br />between the City and the Lake Elmo Business Association, to hear their <br />specific concerns or ideas. She asked the Council for suggestions to <br />accomplish this.
