(Motion carried 5-0). B. Discussion: Future Park Areas (Councilman Williams) When the proposed future land use map was approved on May 4, 1989, Councilman Williams explained there was discussion on identifying suitable areas in the City where future park dedication should, take place so the City would have some control with selection of areas that would be accessible to residents and take into consideration natural amenities. Williams was not advocating developing new parks, but the city should identify park parcels to be set aside. M/S/P Williams/Graves - to direct the Parks Commission to survey the City and make recommendations relative to the Future Land Use Map as to where future park land dedication should be located.
