LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES MAY 16, 1989 PAGE 11 <br />The City Attorney provided a Maintenance Agreement between the VBWD and <br />the City of Lake Elmo for use of City employees to perform minor <br />maintenance work within the City of Lake Elmo. The City Administrator <br />proposed two additions in the paragraph, <br />THEREFORE IT IS AGREED,....... to perform minor maintenance work within <br />the City of Lake Elmo for the.... <br />A. <br />.....District as <br />and approved by <br />ifically requested by the President of the VBWD <br />�ve Flmn r,r„ u�ro;nistrator or desianatee. <br />M/S/P Hunt/Graves - to approve the agreement, as amended, between the <br />Valley Branch Watershed District and the City of Lake Elmo for Use of City <br />Employees to perform minor maintenance work within the City of Lake Elmo. <br />(Motion carried 5-0). <br />B. Discussion: Future Park Areas (Councilman Williams) <br />When the proposed future land use map was approved on May 4, 1989, <br />Councilman Williams explained there was discussion on identifying suitable <br />areas in the City where future park dedication should, take place so the <br />City would have some control with selection of areas that would be <br />accessible to residents and take into consideration natural amenities. <br />Williams was not advocating developing new parks, but the city should <br />identify park parcels to be set aside. <br />M/S/P Williams/Graves - to direct the Parks Commission to survey the City <br />and make recommendations relative to the Future Land Use Map as to where <br />future park land dedication should be located. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />C. Planning Commission's 1989 Work Plan <br />The City Council prioritized the'Planning Commission's 1989 Work Plan. <br />D. Request from Mark Busta re: Tablyn Park <br />Mark Busta, Park Commission Vice Chairman, submitted a request to the <br />Council, dated April. 24, 1989, for realignment of the streambed to remedy <br />the flooding in Tablyn Park. <br />
