t , ,,.; AP <br />q�py! <br />5 ' <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTE -Sr.•-, <br />.mat ^... <br />AUGUST 15, 1989 <br />Mayor Dunn called the City Council meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the <br />City Council chambers. Present: Dunn, Hunt, Williams, Moe (arrived 7:05 <br />p.m., City Engineer Bohrer, City Attorney Knaak and City Administrator <br />Morrison. Absent: Graves. <br />1. AGENDA <br />Item 5B: Correction --After further review by our City Engineer and <br />Building Inspector, they determined that a variance is not required, Add: <br />8F. Review as Informational, 8H. Other <br />M/S/P Hunt/Williams - to approve the August 15, 1989 City Council agenda <br />as amended. (Motion carried 3-0 Note:Councilman Moe arrived at 7:05 <br />P.M.). <br />2. MINUTES: August 1, 1989 <br />M/S/P Hunt/Moe - to approve the August 1, 1989 City Council minutes as <br />amended. (Motion carried 3-1 Abstain: Williams) <br />3. CLAIMS <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to approve the August 15, 1985 Claims #92157 thru <br />#92211 as presented. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />4. ReAPP REPORT <br />Todd Williams reported that ReAPP had a fair booth:at the Washington <br />County Fair and collected over 600 new signatures on their petition, <br />bringing the total close to the 5,000 mdrk. <br />ReAPP is following up on conversations with Congressman Vento and <br />Congressman Sikorski's office regarding the use of federal funds for the <br />park. <br />It has been called to ReAPP's attention that the County has started the <br />Socio-Economic interviews with summer park users without informing the <br />City or ReAPP. The County had agreed to allow us to view the <br />questionnaire ahead of time. ReAPP will be formulating a letter for the <br />City to send to the County officially protesting this lack of involvement <br />by the City. <br />5. PLANNING/LAND USE/ZONING: <br />A. PUBLIC HEARING: Variance from OHWM; Shoreland Permit <br />Butzer/Cole, 8180 Hill Trail N. <br />Mayor Dunn opened up the public hearing at 7:09 p.m. in the City Council <br />chambers. Notice was published in our legal newspaper and affected <br />propertyowners have been notified. There was no one to speak for or <br />against the request. <br />
