Present: Dunn, Hunt, Williams, Moe, and <br />Administrator Morrison. Absent: Councilman Graves. <br />1. AGENDA <br />Delete: 6. City Engineer's Report <br />Add: 5D. Reconsideration of Ed Gorman's Fill Permit, 5E. 201 Project <br />Budget Extension. <br />M/S/P Hunt/Moe - to approve the October 17, 1989 City Council agenda as <br />amended. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />2. MINUTES: September 26, 1989 <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to approve the September 26, 1.989 City Council <br />Minutes as amended. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />MINUTES: October 3, 1989 <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to approve the October 3, 1.989 City Council Minutes <br />as amended. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />3. CLAIMS <br />M/S/P Hunt/Williams - to approve the October 17, 1989 Claims #92381 thru <br />#92435 as presented. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />4. REAPP REPORT <br />There was no report presented. <br />5. PLANNING/LAND USE/ZONING: <br />A. PUBLIC HEARING: Variance: Side Yard Setback <br />Thomas Arcand, 9202 31st St. N. <br />Mayor Dunn opened up the Public Hearing at 7:32 p.m. in the City Council <br />chambers. The Public Hearing notice was duly published and all property <br />owners adjoining this property have been notified. There was no one to <br />speak for or against this request. <br />Thomas Arcand, 9202 31st Street N., has requested a side yard setback <br />variance to construct an addition to an existing garage approximately 2 <br />1/2 feet from the abutting property line whereas 10 feet is required. The <br />applicant proposes to enlarge the existing structure to a 2-car garage to <br />store two cars and a. boat. Arcand stated his hardship is a narrow, <br />long-linky type lot which makes this the only place for a garage, and the <br />
