RESOLUTION 89.49 <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING BUDGET FOR 1990 AND LEVYING TAXES FOR 1990 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has heretofore <br />considered and has adopted a budget setting forth in detail complete <br />financial plans of the City for the year 1990; and <br />WHEREAS, the Finance Director at the direction of the City <br />Council has computed the amount of taxes necessary and within <br />statutory limits which must be levied and collected during the year <br />1990 in order to provide the budgeted funds; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has considered <br />the said proposed levy and determined the same to be necessary in the <br />public interest. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City <br />of Lake Elmo that the attached budget is hereby adopted and approved <br />as the budget for <br />the City of Lake Elmo during the year 1990, and the sum of $652.930 is <br />hereby levied in order to provide the City with the funds required by <br />said budget and that the sum of $70,000 General Obligation Park Bond, <br />$50,000 Equipment Certificate, and a $50,000 Landfill Referendum also <br />be levied for 1990 Bonded Indebtedness for a total City levy of <br />$822,930. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Finance Director is hereby <br />directed to certify a copy of this resolution to the County Auditor in <br />accordance with law. <br />Adopted by the Lake Elmo City Council this 21st day of November, <br />SLtgan Dunn, Mayor <br />
