RESOLUTION 89 - 51 RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF LAKE ELMO ACCEPTING RESIGNATION OF CITY ADMINISTRATOR WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo has been advised by Patricia J. Morrison, the City Administrator, of her intention to resign her position; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo wishes to accomodate the expressed wishes of the Administrator in a manner that would be in the best interest of both the City and Ms. Morrison and in accordance with the employment agreement between the parties; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Lake Elmo hereby accept the resignation of Patricia J. Morrison, terminating the Employment Agreement executed January 17, 1989; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council waives the 30 day notice requirement of the Employment Agreement and that the termination of the Employment Agreement will be effective immediately; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in accord with the provisions of the Employment Agreement, all parties waive any right to a public hearing; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the severance will be 10 weeks pay, including benefits, beginning December 20, 1989, and payable on the normal salary payment schedule used by the City; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Patricia J. Morrison immediately surrender all City property in her possession, including any and all keys to City facili— ties; and BE .IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Patricia J. Morrison remove her personal belongings from City Hall and from any other City facilities before 12:00 noon on December 20, 1989; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Patricia J. Morrison be given credit for all unused vacation. ADOPTED, by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo this day of December, 1989.
