RESOLUTION NO. 89-23 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR OVERLAY AND <br />DITCHING OF 33RD STREET <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the <br />improvement of 33rd Street North, by reconstruction, bids were <br />received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following <br />bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Name of Bidder: Amount of Bid: <br />Alexander Construction $28,913.20 <br />Ace Blacktop $29,276.25 <br />Valley Paving $33,815.00 <br />Tower Asphalt $35,448.00 <br />and, WHEREAS, it appears that Alexander Construction is the lowest <br />responsible bidder. <br />MN: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAKE ELMO, <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into the attached contract with Alexander Construction in the name of <br />the City of Lake Elmo for the improvement of 33rd Street North, <br />according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the <br />City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2.
