RESOLUTION NO. 89-22 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR RECONSTRUCTION <br />OF' 43RD STREET AND KIMBRO AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the <br />improvement of 43rd Street and Kimbro Avenue, by reconstruction, bids <br />were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Name of Bidder: <br />Dresel Contracting <br />T.A..Schifsky & Sons <br />Danner, Inc. <br />Valley Paving <br />E & H Earthmovers <br />Ace Blacktop <br />Alexander Construction <br />Amount of Bid: <br />$154,268.40 <br />$1.71,966.93 <br />$172,539.22 <br />$176,557.60 <br />$178,018.41 <br />$198,014.55 <br />$198,644.80 <br />and, WHEREAS, it appears that Dresel Contracting is the lowest <br />responsible bidder. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, OF LAKE ELMO, <br />MN: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into the attached contract with Dresel Contracting in the name of the <br />City of Lake Elmo for the improvement of 43rd Street and Kimbro <br />Avenue, according to the plans and specifications therefore approved <br />by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2.
