RESOLUTION NO. 89-35 <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION <br />FOR A DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES PARK GRANT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo has reviewed the need for winter <br />grooming of the ski trail system in Sunfish Park for the 1989-90 <br />skiing season; and, <br />WHEREAS, the need for ski trail winter grooming for the <br />approximate 13.1 kilometers of ski trails in Sunfish Park exceeds the <br />dollars available for such services; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has grant <br />monies available for winter grooming of the ski trails; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City <br />of Lake Elmo, that the City staff and Parks Commission, are hereby <br />directed to apply for a grant for maintenance of ski trails in Sunfish <br />Lake, and the City shall enter into an agreement with Washington <br />County to perform the Maintenance of the trails in Sunfish Lake. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Administrator are <br />hereby authorized to sign. such application to the Minnesota Department <br />of Natural Resources Minnesota Assistance Program funds through its <br />Grant -In Aid Program. <br />At-te <br />ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 20th day of June , <br />Susan Dunn, Mayor <br />atricia I4orr_lson, City Administrator <br />
