DATE APPROVED: 1/16/90 <br />DATE ISSUED: 2/2/90 <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />JANUARY 2, 1990 <br />Mayor Dunn called the City Council meeting to order. at 7:03 p.m. in <br />the City Council chambers. Present: Dunn, Hunt, Williams, Graves, <br />City Engineer Larry Bohrer, City Attorney Fritz Knaak, and <br />Acting -Administrator Mary Kuef.fner. <br />1. AGENDA <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to approve the January 2, 1990 City Council <br />agenda as presented. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />2. MINUTES: December 5, 1989 <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to approve the December 5, 1989 City Council <br />minutes as amended. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />MINUTES: December 19, 1989 <br />M/S/P Hunt/Graves -- to approve the December 19, 1989 City Council <br />minutes as amended. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />3. CLAIMS <br />M/S/P Graves/Williams -• to approve the January 2, 1990 Claims #92728 <br />thru #92789 as presented. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />4. PUBLIC INQUIRIES <br />Todd Williams reported Twin Cities Live will be broadcasting a program <br />regarding solid waste disposal in the Metropolitan area at 9:00 a.m. <br />on Wednesday. Williams encouraged. interested residents to attend the <br />KSTP TV Studios because some Lake Elmo residents will be interviewed <br />and there will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions. <br />Ted Sterbenk, 9141 31st St. N., submitted a petition requesting street <br />lights on the corner of Janero Avenue North and 31st Street N.; Jamley <br />Avenue N. and 31st St.; and Friedrick Road and 31st St-. The staff <br />will review this request and report back to Council. <br />Gary Lee, 8251 Deer Pond Ct., reported the house at 8191 Lake Jane <br />Trail, next to Pebble Park, has a large light on the front of his <br />house lighting up the construction of his new garage and asked who <br />gave authorization. The staff will review this request and report back <br />to Council. <br />Dick Johnson, 8896 Lake Jane Trail, submitted a letter, signed by <br />concerned citizens, requesting an explanation of the reasons for the <br />forced resignation of the Lake Elmo City Administrator, Patricia <br />Morrison, on December 19, 1989. <br />
