PUBLIC INQUIRIES
At the last Council meeting the City Engineer gave a report on road,
construction for 1.990, Kelly Brookman asked why he didn't include 15th
Street. Bohrer responded this project was ordered in 1.989 and the
public hearings were held in 1989 for 1990 construction. Brockman
pointed out that rebuilding a road for a private individual, with
approx. a 2% assessement of the total cost, the rest of the taxpayers
are icking up the balance. (See attached letter from Larry Bohrer
on 15th Street Improvements.)
Kelly Brockman asked the following questions:
When will we get our recycling containers? Mary Kueffner explained on
Wednesday there is a third review committee meeting, out of four, for
grant applications. The final decision will be made on February 15,
1.990 by the entire Met Council. Kueffner added, we are looking for
volunteers to help distribute these containers. Brockman answered he
would be glad to help.
When will the T.V. cable coverage start on the City Council meetings?
Mary Kueffner explained two training sessions are left before we can
officially tape the meetings on our own.
