CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT: <br />A. R-1 Zoning District Repeal <br />The City Attorney will attend the next Council meeting to discuss the <br />R-1 Zoning District Repeal. <br />B. Monthly Status Report <br />The City Attorney provided the Council with his monthly Litigation <br />Report. <br />C. Public Facility Ordinance <br />Councilman Williams suggested the City Attorney be asked how to reword <br />the PF Ordinance to allow rezoning for only a specific use. Williams <br />i.ndicatd the alternative would be to not have the PF Ordinance and be <br />more specific as to what uses are allowed in our other zoning <br />categories. <br />The Planning Commission will bring their recommedation to the Council <br />on the PF Ordinance and then the Council can discuss this further. <br />10. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS: <br />Mayor Dunn reported because Councilman Hunt was out-of-town on <br />business, he was unable to attend the Council meeting. The Council <br />received a letter from Councilman Hunt explaining on February 27th he <br />met with Mary Kueffner to discuss the city's performance review <br />process and finding a new city administrator. Councilman Graves was <br />invited, but was unable to attend. Mayor Dunn was in attendance. <br />Based on his meeting, Hunt made the following recommendation to not <br />advertise for a new City Administrator, but promote from within. He <br />recommended the City Administrator's position be offered to Mary <br />Kueffner since he felt she met the necessary qualifications of the <br />job. <br />The Council was supportive of the recommendation that the City appoint <br />Mary Kueffner as Full Time Permanent City Administrator. <br />Councilmembers Graves and Williams suggested the Personnel Committee <br />work out the details, relative to determination of salary, possible <br />changes needed in the City Admin. Job Description and other possible <br />personnel appointments within the office incorporating the City's <br />staff recommendation relative to additional staff. <br />M/S/P Armstrong/Graves - to direct the Personnel Committee to <br />determine a salary and contract for Mary Kueffner that will be <br />reviewed at the next Council meeting. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />M/S/ Armstrong/Graves - to direct Mary Kueffner to advertise for help <br />within the City staff as she sees fit. <br />
