Here are some reasons why CVS is worthy of your consideration: <br />*It is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that qualifies for <br />the receipt of such proceeds. <br />*It serves the residents of Lake Elmo- <br />*Because of CVS' unique ability to rely on volunteers for most of <br />their work, donations to CVS are particularly well -spent. The <br />value of each dollar given is at least doubled as it is channeled <br />through the work of the volunteers that CVS places each year. <br />During 1989, 28 round-trip rides were given to Lake Elmo residents <br />who requested rides from our Transportation Program, costing the CVS <br />Transportation program a total of $338.10. There were 27 families <br />from Lake Elmo who received assistance from the Holiday Bureau at <br />Christmas time and a number of Lake Elmo Senior Citizens made <br />use of our Senior Center and the many programs that it provides. <br />I have enclosed some information on CVS that will acquaint you <br />with the work that we do.
