PETERSON, FRANKE & RIACH <br />PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION <br />BACKGROUND <br />Peterson, Franke & Riach, A Professional Association, was formed in <br />1986 and represents the merger of the St. Paul, Minnesota firm of <br />Peterson, Gray and Sheehan, Ltd., and the Roseville, Minnesota firm <br />of Franke, Riach & Franke, P.A. Currently, the firm has 13 <br />lawyers, with offices in downtown St. Paul and Roseville, <br />Minnesota. <br />Jerome E. Franke, the founder of Franke, Riach and Franke, P.A., <br />began his practice in Roseville in 1953 and formed the firm after <br />retiring from the bench. He served as the Municipal Court Judge <br />for Roseville, Minnesota from 1956 to 1974. He is now of counsel <br />to the firm. Warren Peterson, founder of the Peterson firm, began <br />his practice in 1967 and formed what was to become Peterson, Gray <br />and Sheehan in 1976. The emphasis of both firms was real estate, <br />business law, and civil litigation. <br />Peterson, Franke & Riach, P.A. has individual attorneys who <br />specialize in the following areas: purchase and sale of <br />businesses, real estate, general business representation, civil <br />litigation, taxation, banking, credit unions, municipal law, <br />bankruptcy and estate planning/probate. The following is an <br />introduction to the individual members of the firm: <br />Warren E. Peterson: <br />Warren Peterson is a 1964 graduate of William Mitchell College of <br />Law. He served as a law clerk for the Minnesota Supreme Court and <br />as a Special Assistant Attorney General and Assistant Ramsey County <br />Attorney before entering private practice. He practices in the <br />areas of general business law, including the purchase and sale of <br />businesses and estate planning and probate. <br />Ronald J. Riach: <br />Ronald Riach is a 1966 graduate of Drake University Law School and <br />was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1966 and the Minnesota Bar in 1967. <br />He practices primarily in the areas of real estate, commercial, <br />business and family law. In the real estate area, he has been <br />involved with numerous residential and commercial real estate <br />developments representing both lenders and developers. He is a <br />Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and a member <br />of the Minnesota Association of Trial Lawyers. <br />1 <br />
