DATE APPROVED: 2/19/91 <br />DATE ISSUED: 3/1/91 <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />FEBRUARY 5, 1991 <br />Mayor Johnson called. the City Council meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />Present: Mayor Johnson, Hunt, Dick Johnson, Mottaz, Williams, City <br />Engineers Bohrer and Prew, City Attorney Filla and Administrator <br />Kueffner. <br />1. AGENDA <br />Add: 12H. Handout of .preliminary comments from R.Thompson on review <br />of Comp Plan, 13I. Update on shoreland informational meeting, <br />Move. 10C. to an Executive Session. <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to approve the February 5, City Council agenda <br />as amended. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />2. MINUTES: January 1.5, 1991 <br />M/S/P Hunt/Dick Johnson - to approve the January 15, 1991 City Council <br />minutes as amended. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />3. CLAIMS <br />M/S/P Dick Johnson/Williams - to approve the February 5, 1991 Claim.s <br />#94362 thru #94435 as presented.. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />4. PUBLIC INQUIRIES <br />There were no public inquiries. <br />5. REAPP REPORT <br />A. Contract with Colle McVoy <br />B. Contract with Pat Forciea <br />The Council received copies of the contracts proposed by Colle & McVoy <br />and Pat Forciea relative to our public relations campaign. ReA.PP <br />member, Tedi Carlson, answered the Council's questions and recommended <br />these contracts be approved as soon as possible so Colle McVoy can <br />proceed with the press kit and video tape. <br />City Attorney Filla reviewed both contracts and found them general and <br />vague. He noted there was no indication of control by city on costs <br />and some overlap with both contracts. The Council was asked to convey <br />their concerns on the contracts to the City Attorney by Monday in <br />order for him to prepare proper contract wording. <br />
