(Motion <br />carried 5-0). <br />C. Councilmen Hunt & Mottaz: Legion Avenue Improvement <br />Councilman Hunt reported they met with the residents, who recognized <br />the road has to be done, but felt their situation was special and <br />there should be fairness in the assetments. <br />The City Administrator reported the City, with the help of the <br />auditor, is working on an assessment policy. <br />D. Councilman Johnson: Appointments to Maintenance Advisory <br />Committee <br />The City received four letters from residents indicating their <br />interest for appointments to the Maintenance Advisory Committee. <br />M/S/P Dick Johnson/Mottaz - to appoint Kelly Brookman, Jim Palecek, <br />Jim Peterson, Jeff Caswell to the Maintenance Advisory Committee and <br />direct the city administrator to set a meeting date and notify all <br />appointments and request that the Fire Chief, Public Works Foreman, <br />Council liaison, Dick Johnson, to attend this meeting. (Motion carried <br />5-0). <br />E. Councilman Williams: Resolution on Wetland Protection Bill; <br />Discussion on Cost Control Board Proposal <br />Councilman Williams provided a resolution for council review <br />concerning the wetlands protection bills being considered by the <br />Minnesota State Legislature. <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to approve Resolution No. 91-14, A Resolution <br />concerning the wetlands protection bills being considered by the <br />Minnesota State Legislature. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />11. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPROT: <br />A. Resignation of Planning Commission member <br />The City Council received a letter of resignation from Planning <br />Commission member, Debra Wilfong, whose term would have expired <br />12-31-91. <br />At the February 21, 1991 Council meeting, Planning Commission <br />applicants, Ray Salus and Karin Schubert were the only candidates <br />recommended by all city council members. Karin Schubert already sits <br />on the Commission. <br />M/S/F Mottaz/Dave Johnson - to appoint Ray Salus as Second Alternate <br />to the Planning Commission, (Motion failed 2-3: Hunt, Dick Johnson, <br />Williams). <br />
