Minnesota Pollution Control Agency r� <br />520 Lafayette Road, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55155-3898 <br />( Telephone (612) 296-6300 <br />MINNES TA1990 <br />April 25, 1991 -APR 2 6 1991 <br />VIA CERTIFIED MAIL <br />RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED <br />RE: Draft Modified NPDES/SDS Permit.#MN 0054348 <br />Washington County Landfill #1 <br />Lake Elmo, Minnesota <br />Dear Mayor (or Chief Administrative Officer): <br />THIS IS AN OFFICIAL REQUEST OF -THE MINNESOTA POLLUTION CONTROL AGENCY THAT <br />YOU POST THE ENCLOSED PUBLIC NOTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING: <br />The'Minnesota Rules Part 7001.0100 Subpart 5 C require that: <br />"The Director shall circulate permit public notices in one or more of <br />the following ways: <br />(1) by posting the notice in the post office, public library, or <br />other buildings used by the general public in the designated <br />geographical areas; <br />(2) by posting the notice at or near the entrance of the <br />applicant's premises, if located near the facility or <br />activity that is the subject of the permit application." <br />Accordingly, we submit the enclosed public notice for posting in the City, <br />Town, or Village Hall. <br />We request that the notice be posted on the date referenced in the notice _ <br />and that it remain posted for thirty days.
