LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES DECEMBER 17, 1991 7 <br />Request by Robert Ziertman <br />Robert Ziertman had previously requested selling 4.135 acres to <br />his neighbor. With the approval of Ordinance No. 8060, the <br />parcel containing 4.135 acres will be combined by the purchaser <br />of said property so that the new parcel will consist of <br />approximately 9.135 acres. <br />M/S/P Dick Johnson/Williams - to approve Resolution No. 91-42, A <br />lot consolidation granted to Robert and Dorothy Ziertman <br />effective the following day after publication of Ordinance 8060. <br />(Motion carried 4-0). <br />E. Ordinance No. 8062, Heritage Preservation Commission <br />M/S/P Williams/Mottaz - to adopt Ordinance 8062, adding Section <br />212, A Heritage Preservation Commission to the 1979 Municipal <br />Code of Lake Elmo. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />M/S/P Williams/Mayor Johnson - to,approve and publish the summary <br />of Ordinance 8062 Heritage Preservation Commission. (Motion <br />carried 4-0)• <br />F. Contract with Washington County for Police Service for <br />1991 <br />M/S/P Williams/Mottaz - to approve the 1991 contract with <br />Washington County in the amount of $92,129.87 for police service <br />for the City of Lake Elmo. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />G. Contract with Washington County for Ski Trail Grooming <br />M/S/P Williams/Mottaz - to approve the 1992 contract with <br />Washington County for Ski Trail Grooming for the City of Lake <br />Elmo. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />H. Board of Review <br />Lake Elmo's Board of Review is scheduled for April 16 from 3 to 6 <br />p.m. with the follow-up meeting scheduled for May 5th. The <br />Council was asked to try to arrange their schedule so that all <br />council members could be there for the entire three hours. <br />I. Letter from Oakdale regarding excess right-of-way <br />in annexed area. <br />The City received a copy of a letter from, Larry Whitaker, <br />Oakdale Administrator, to Mn Dept. of Transportation indicating <br />the City of Oakdale is interested in annexing this property to <br />provide the most efficient levels of service to the area while <br />establishing logical boundaries for the two communities. The <br />MnDOt property as it now exists in Lake Elmo cannot be left as an <br />island in Oakdale. <br />
