LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES JULY 7, 1992 10 <br />12. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />A. City Attorney's (Prosecuting) six month review <br />Prosecuting Attorney, Carl Blondin, announced his <br />resignation and indicated he wished to act in the city's <br />best interest and agreed to postpone his resignation until <br />August 1, 1992 to allow for a smooth transition for the next <br />attorney. <br />M/S/P Dick Johnson/Mottaz - to accept the resignation of <br />Carl Blondin, prosecuting city attorney, as of August 1, <br />1992, and direct the staff to prepare a recommendation for <br />another city prosecuting attorney. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />B. Temporary Liquor License for Guardian Angels Church <br />M/S/P Hunt/Dick Johnson - to adopt Resolution No. 92-14, <br />Approving Temporary On -Sale Intoxicating Liquor Licenses for <br />Guardian Angels Church. (Motion carried 4-1: Williams: He <br />is not happy with these licenses being allowed for unlimited <br />number of events.) <br />C. Update on Meeting with Oakdale on Hwy 36 and <br />Hadley Avenue <br />The Council supported Oakdale's request of MnDOT to delay <br />action for a sufficient time to obtain current data on <br />frequency of accidents to make a decision on restricting <br />access. Mayor Johnson indicated he was not in favor because <br />this would make Hwy 36 simply impassable. <br />M/S/P Hunt/Williams - to adjourn the meeting at 11:20 p.m. <br />(Motion carried 5-0)• <br />- ResolutionNo. 92-12, Vacating a portion of 34th Street <br />Resolution No. 92-13, Adopting the Lake Elmo Park Plan <br />Resolution No. 92-14, Approving Temporary On -Sale <br />Intoxicating Liquor Licenses for Guardian Angels Church <br />
