Petition for buoys on Olson Lake Channel <br />James Dillon has contacted the Tri Lakes Association <br />regarding a potential purchase of buoys. This issue will be <br />presented at the Tri Lakes Association Board meeting <br />tonight. Dillon asked that this item be postponed until he <br />can come back with the information. Dillon understands <br />Washington County Sheriff's Dept. will install the buoys, <br />but raised the question who will maintain and store them. <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to postpone consideration of this item <br />until the November 5th council meeting. (Motion carried 5- <br />0). <br />E. Ordinance 8076 relating to signs <br />Councilman Williams explained in the past we have not <br />allowed business signs in residential areas, but found a <br />nameplate sign, as defined in our code, includes a nameplate <br />for a business. Also, nameplate signs are allowed in <br />residential zones.
