MINUTES APPROVED: October 5, 1993 <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />SEPTEMBER 21, 1993 <br />Mayor John called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. in the city council chambers. <br />PRESENT: Mottaz, Conlin, John, Johnston, Johnson, City Engineer Bohrer, City <br />Attorney Filla and Administrator Kueffner <br />1. AGENDA <br />Add: OLD BUSINESS: 5G. Recommendation from Parks Commission on <br />Equestrian/Pedestrian Trail, 5H. Review report by Trail Study Group, 6A. Status of MSA <br />Project, 7. Report on Olson Lakes Estates Pond, 10B. Section 32 Update <br />M/S/C Johnson/Johnston - to approve the September 21, 1993 City Council agenda as <br />amended. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />2. MINUTES: September 7, 1993 <br />M/S/C Johnson/John - to approve the September 7, 1993 city council minutes as <br />amended. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />MINUTES: September 8, 1993 Budget Meeting <br />M/S/C John/Johnston - to approve the September 8, 1993 Budget Meeting minutes as <br />amended. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />3. CLAIMS <br />M/S/C Johnston/Conlin - to approve the September 21, 1993 claims #1945 through <br />#1972 as presented. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />4. PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL: <br />A. Old Village --New Village: Mayor John <br />Mayor John presented a concept plan for a Lake Elmo City Center. The aim of the plan <br />is to create a focus for Lake Elmo Village Life, coordinated with the Old Village, which <br />people will find attractive, leisured, and relaxing. John is interested in feedback from <br />residents on whether this is what they would like to see for Lake Elmo. <br />
