LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES SEPTEMBER 7, 1993 <br />Tom Soderberg stated he would make a proposal to develop the trail and was willing to <br />work with the Parks Commission to establish specifications of trail along with the other <br />property owners. <br />F. Minor Subdivision:Joni Foster/Wayne Marzolf <br />At their August 23, 1993 meeting, the Planning Commission recommended approval of <br />the request of Joni Foster/Wayne Marzolf for a minor subdivision based on the <br />following findings of fact: 1. The subject land is designated RAD on the City Land Use <br />Plan Map, 2. The property is zoned Rural Residential (RR), 3. The minimum lot size in <br />the RR zoning district is 10 acres and 4. No variances are requested. <br />M/S/C Mottaz/John - to adopt Resolution No. 93-67, as presented, A Resolution <br />Granting A Minor Subdivision to Wayne Marzolf and Joni Foster. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />8. CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT: (covered in 5. OLD BUSINESS) <br />9. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT: None <br />10. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS: <br />Council member Conlin provided a letter from George Rouse, Ramsey Washington <br />Cable Commission member on Redistribution of excess franchise fees to member <br />communities. Rita will report back to the Council with more information and options. <br />11. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />A. Stillwater Sesquicentennial Parade <br />M/S/C Johnson/John - to direct the staff to confirm with the Sesquicentennial <br />Committee the Council's desire to participate in Saturday, September 11 parade. <br />(Motion carried 5-0). <br />B. Letter from Gazette regarding Sesquicentennial Souvenir Edition <br />Mayor John will send out a congratulatory letter to the City of Stillwater. <br />M/S/C Mottaz/Johnson - to decline the offer of placement of a congratulatory letter to <br />the City of Stillwater at a cost of $179 or $99 in the Sesquicentennial Souvenir Editor of <br />the Stillwater Gazette. (Motion carried 5.0). <br />
