The Council had questions on Exhibit A and suggested a reference be added <br />such as: Based on Lake Elmo's understanding of the City of Oakdale's most <br />recent plans for Section 32/33. <br />Mayor John, Steve Schwanke and Administrator Kueffner will be attending a <br />meeting with the Metropolitan Council and Waste Control Commission at 2:00 on <br />Wednesday to discuss issues that may arise if the City were to submit the 440 <br />acre MUSA expansion. Therefore, the council made the following motion. <br />M/S/C John/Mottaz - to table until the January 18, 1994 council meeting to <br />discuss the exhibits because they do not adequately please the council. (Motion <br />carried 5-0). <br />3. Recodification of Lake Elmo Municipal Code: Section 505-Permits, Fees <br />and Bonds <br />M/S/C Conlin/Mottaz - to strike 505.10 Pole Construction Buildings (page 505-6) <br />and submit to Planning Commission to decide if this section is needed, if so, <br />should this be inserted in zoning category and should we be specific and define <br />pole buildings. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />M/S/C John/Mottaz - to refer to the city attorney and ask if this is legal? <br />510.01 Fire Detection System Required: The first paragraph of the U8C should <br />be duplicated and inserted. Delete the remaining 80bd.:' , " <br />Section 515 - Principal Buildings., Subd. 2 Existing Neighborhoods. <br />Jim McNamara suggested this be dealt with through covenants. <br />M/S/C Mottaz/John - to request the city attorney review Subd. 2 Existing <br />Neighborhoods. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />The council approved the proposed changes through Section 515. <br />M/S/C Mottaz/Conlin - to adjourn the workshop at 8:05 p.m. (Motion carried 5- <br />0). <br />
