LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES APRIL 5, 1994 2 <br />James A. Roth, 2655 Innsdale Avenue, explained he understands the developer <br />will be putting in the roads on the Bishop/Eberhard/ Meehan property this <br />summer and the surrounding residents have not been notified. The council <br />explained the process starts with someone submitting an application and that <br />application has not been submitted for the development of that property. <br />Robert Mear, 8341 27th Street, stated at a planning commission meeting last <br />year Mr. Bishop had a preliminary plat presented and was tabled in lieu of the <br />Met Council's decision. The Council clarified there was a concept plan submitted <br />with the rezoning. <br />Paul Bernardy, 8352 27th St. N., indicated Don Bishop signed an agreement in <br />1987 to preserve 90+ acres known as Outlot A and is upset that Bishop now <br />plans to develop it. <br />Don Bishop responded it is in his plans to call residents to a meeting to discuss <br />this concept. The people concerned will have an opportunity at the subdivision <br />meeting to make their views known. <br />B. Lake Elmo Jaycees: Charitable Gambling <br />M/S/C Mottaz/Conlin - to adopt Resolution No. 94-12, A Resolution approving <br />the issuance of a Charitable Gambling License, by the State of Minnesota to the <br />Lake Elmo Jaycees. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />C. Oakdale/Lake Elmo Historical Society:Request for funds <br />M/S/C Mottaz/Johnston - to authorize $200 for the Oakdale Lake Elmo Historical <br />Society and suggested amending by-laws with a stipulation that it is the desire of <br />the Board that the members be spread amongst the communities. (Motion <br />carried 5-0). <br />5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: <br />A. Appointments to Planning Commission <br />M/S/C Johnston/Johnson - to appoint Todd Mathisen, 9618 53rd Street, as First <br />Alternate, and Susan Dunn, P.O. Box 153, as Second Alternate to the Lake Elmo <br />Planning Commission. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />
