NFIP 31 '94 11:55 Tk;DR fISSOC., INC. 292-0083 P.E
Honorable Mayor and City Council
March 3 0, 1994
Page 2
Mr. Conrad was very concerned about the loss of privacy, and extra traffic noise he would
have as a result of the bushes being removed. We proposed replacement bushes, but Mr.
Conrad felt they would take too long to grow, Mr. Conrad proposed that a privacy fence
be erected to replace the bushes. He felt to be fair, if the City would purchase the
materials, he would build the fence himself.
The estimated coat of the materials for this fence is $1,500. The fence materials would be
eligible for State Aid funds.
We recommend that the new woven wire fence be installed and the privacy fence materials
be purchased for Mr. Conrad's yard.
3, Fence at ft&WWg Wall by Olina^ er H_ ouse
This retaining wall was built higher than the planned height to better match the Olinger's
front yard. We feel the 6 - 7' height of this retaining wail now requires some fencing to
help protect against accidents. Mr. Olinger would like to see a white post and board type
fence made of PVC or similar plastic. We estimate this type of fence, installed will cost
$1,500, and is eligible for State Aid funds. We recommend this fence be installed by the
contractor.
Sincerely,
Larry D. Baker, P.B.
LDB/mha
