LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES APRIL 5, 1994 <br />The preliminary plat of Stonegate was approved on September 17, 1991. A final <br />plat must be submitted within 180 days after said approval or the approval of the <br />preliminary plat shall be considered void unless a request for time extension is <br />submitted and approved by the city council. Therefore, the preliminary plat of <br />Stonegate Phase II will have to be resubmitted to the PZ. <br />7. CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT: <br />A. 1993 MSA Update <br />The Council received a letter from Larry Bohrer, dated March 30, 1994, <br />regarding Final Restoration Issues for the completion of Jamaca Avenue and <br />Lake Jane Trail. <br />M/S/C Mottaz/Conlin - to accept the changes recommended by the city engineer <br />in his letter to the council dated March 30,1994. (Motion carried 4-1:Johnson:He <br />does not see justification for the fences). <br />B. Final Payment to Tower Asphalt for 1992 Street Maintenance and <br />Parking Lots <br />M/S/C Johnson/Johnston - to approve Change Order No. 1 (Compensating) in <br />the amount of $1,392.21 and final payment to Tower Asphalt in the amount of <br />$11,622.23. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />8. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT: None <br />9. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS: <br />Council Member Conlin submitted her letter concerning the cable commission to <br />Rep. Pam Neary regarding House File 2408. <br />Council member Mottaz asked the city attorney for a definition of front yard and <br />back yard for shoreland property. <br />10. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />A. Board of Review <br />The Council was reminded that the Board of Review will be held on Thursday, <br />April 14, 1994, 3-6 p.m. at City Hall. <br />B. Special Workshop on Olson Lake Estates <br />M/S/C Johnston/John - to authorize Attorney Chuck Dayton attend the April 14 <br />and April 21 VBWD meetings on Olson Lake Estates portion of the Lake Olson <br />Water Management Plan. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />
