MINUTES APPROVED: 8-2-94 <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />JULY 19, 1994 <br />Mayor John called the council meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. in the council chambers. <br />PRESENT: Mottaz, Conlin, John, Johnston, Johnson, City Engineer Bohrer, City <br />Attorney Filla, Building Official McNamara (departed 8:00 p.m.) and Administrator <br />Kueffner. <br />1. AGENDA <br />ADD: 4A. Letter on Alternate Ag, 4B. Letter on County Road 10 and response from <br />Washington County, 4C. Huff'n Puff Days, 6. Joint Meeting with Grant Township and <br />Pine Springs to discuss Highway 36, Olson Lakes Estates Update <br />TABLE: Stable Ordinance, Heritage Preservation Ordinance, Sign chart added to Sign <br />Ordinance at later date <br />M/S/P John/Johnson - to approve the June 19,1994,city council agenda as amended. <br />(Motion passed 5-0) <br />2. MINUTES: July 5, 1994 <br />M/S/P Johnston/Conlin - to approve the July 5, 1994 City Council minutes as amended. <br />(Motion passed 4-0-1:Abstain:Conlin). <br />3. CLAIMS <br />Administrator Kueffner reported the fees for the IBM Maintenance Agreement has been <br />the same for the last 5 years and that is their minimum charge.. One service call could <br />exceed this maintenance fee. <br />M/S/P John/Johnston - to approve Claim #2782, IBM Maintenance Agreement. (Motion <br />passed 5-0). <br />M/S/P Johnston/John - to approve the July 19, 1994 Claims #2855 through #2902 as <br />presented. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />4. PUBLIC INFORMATIONAUINQUIRIES: <br />The Council received a letter for John & Joan Bodey, 8155 15th Street N., and Annette <br />Pierre, 8167 15th Street N., expressing their support and gratitude to the council for <br />their decision to repeal "Alternate Ag" and deny the amendment to the existing CUP <br />request by Armstrong Farm. As adjacent property owners they are concerned about <br />
