LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP <br />AUGUST 29, 1994 <br />Mayor John called the workshop to order at 7:06 p.m. PRESENT: Mottaz, <br />Conlin, John, Johnston, Johnson, Marilyn Banister, Mary Kueffner and Kathy <br />Aho, Paul Donna of Springsted, Inc. <br />Kathy Aho, Springsted, Inc. submitted to the council Financing Alternatives dated <br />August 29, 1994. The council preferred the "pay as you go" method of financing. <br />Springsted will look into the questions raised on districts crossing boundaries <br />and can a district include the street? <br />M/S/P Mottaz/Johnson - to send a letter to George Burkard and ask him to come <br />to a workshop to discuss financing options and suggest dates for the council and <br />him to meet and Springsted will send information on financing vehicles, basic <br />rules for financing and to indicate the city favors "pay as you go" financing <br />option. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />M/S/P Mottaz/Conlin - to adjourn the workshop at 8:40 p.m. (Motion carried) <br />
