MINUTES APPROVED: 8-16-94 <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />AUGUST 2, 1994 <br />6:00 p.m. BUDGET WORKSHOP <br />Mayor John called the council meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. in the council chambers. <br />PRESENT: Mottaz (arrived 7:10 p.m.), Conlin, John, Johnston, Johnson, City Engineer <br />Bohrer, City Attorney Filla and Administrator Kueffner. <br />1. AGENDA <br />DELETE: 8A. Impounding Agreement with St. Croix Animal Shelter (Tabled to August <br />16, 1994 council meeting.) <br />10A. Proposed ordinances relating to Curfew, Noise, Loitering (Tabled to <br />discuss with Washington County Sheriff's Dept.) <br />ADD: 7E. Update on the Rolling Hills paving, 7F. Authorize the Mayor to sign the <br />cracksealing contract. <br />M/S/P Johnson/Johnston - to approve the August 2,1994 city council agenda as <br />amended. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />2. MINUTES: July 19, 1994 <br />M/S/P Conlin/Johnston - to approve the July 19, 1994 city council minutes as amended. <br />(Motion passed 5-0). <br />3. CLAIMS: <br />M/S/P Mottaz/Conlin - to approve the August 2,1994 Claims #2903 through #2932 as <br />presented. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />4. PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL/INQUIRIES: <br />A. Public Inquiries <br />Mayor John announced the following: <br />Grand Opening, Sunday, August 14, 1994, 1-5 p.m., Farming Heritage Century Farm <br />Day at the Washington County Historic Court House, <br />Received a letter from Keith Geiger, President -National Education Assoc., delighted <br />that Meredith Cable offers the Learning Channel to communities and requested <br />interested viewers to write in. <br />
