MINUTES APPROVED: DECEMBER 6, 1994 <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />NOVEMBER 15, 1994 <br />Mayor John called the council meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers. <br />PRESENT: Mottaz (arrived 7:10 p.m.), Conlin, John, Johnston, Johnson, Attorney Filla <br />and Administrator Kueffner <br />1. AGENDA <br />ADD: 5. Mn/DOT Letter, 7. Letter from Woodbury regarding Comp Plan amendment, <br />5A. Trees in Arabian Hills, 9B. City Planner, 10B. Volunteer Recognition Party Date, <br />10C. Proposal from Metro East Group <br />DELETE: 6E & 6F <br />M/S/P Johnson/Conlin - to approve the November 1, 1994 city council agenda as <br />amended. (Motion passed 4-0 (Councilman Mottaz was not in attendance). <br />2. MINUTES: October 4, 1994 <br />M/S/P John/Johnston to approve the October 4,1994 city council minutes as amended. <br />(Motion passed 4-0 ) <br />MINUTES: November 1,1994 <br />M/S/P John/Conlin - to approve the November 1, 1994 city council minutes as <br />amended. (Motion passed 4-0) <br />3. CLAIMS <br />In response to Councilman Johnson's question on claim #3236 change from Bldg. <br />Permit, Building Official, Jim McNamara, will look into this claim and report back. <br />M/S/P Johnson/Johnston - to approve the November 15, 1994 claims #3203 through <br />#3240, as presented. (Motion passed 5-0. Councilman Mottaz arrived at 7:10 p.m.). <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />A. Trees in Arabian Hills <br />Administrator Kueffner reported she has been unable to contact Chuck Nelson, <br />Developer of Arabian Hills, who has been in France. Kueffner will be reviewing the <br />minutes that have been pulled since the beginning of the RE zoning to its completion. <br />The developer has appeared to put the requirement of planting 6 trees per acre on <br />each individual property within the covenants. The developer is planting a tree every <br />50', but there is more required in the city's new landscape ordinance. Updates will <br />continue. <br />
