Replace computer in Finance Department; Ontrack Data Recovery <br />D. ICR Reports from Sheriff's Dept. <br />Mayor John called the council meeting to order at 7:00 p.m, in the Council chambers. PRESENT: <br />DeLapp, Hunt, John, Conlin, Johnston, City Planner Terwedo, City Attorney Filla, City Engineer Bohrer <br />and Administrator Kueffner. <br />I.AGENDA <br />ADD: 7F. Revisions to Section 700, Letter from Bob Engstrom, 8G. Schedule for accepting Open Space <br />application, road widths, Progress Report on Section 33 Sewer and Water, Progress Report on Olson <br />Lake Outlet Project, 12B. Commissioners visiting Overland Park in Kansas, 13C. Ontrack Data Recovery, <br />13D. Handouts on ICR Reports from Sheriff's Dept. <br />M/S/P Conlin/DeLapp - to approve the July 1.6, 1996 City Council agenda as amended. (Motion passed <br />5-0). <br />2. MINUTES: July 2, 1996 <br />M/S/P Johnstor✓DeLapp - to approve the July 2, 1996 City Council minutes as amended. (Motion passed <br />3.0-2:Abstain:Conlin, Hunt) <br />3. CLAIMS <br />M/S/P Hunt/Johnston -to approve the July 16, 1996 Claims #4913 through #4972, as presented. (Motion <br />passed 5-0). <br />4. PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL: <br />A. Proclamation of August as Lions Month in honor of 40th Anniversary <br />Diane Knoll, Lake Elmo Lions Club, requested a Proclamation from the City for the month of August as <br />Lions Month for the 40 years of community involvement from the Lake Elmo Lions Club. <br />MAYOR JOHN PROCLAIMED THE MONTH OF AUGUST, 1996 AS LIONS MONTH AND URGED ALL <br />CITIZENS OF LAKE ELMO TO GIVE FULL REGARD TO THE PAST AND CONTINUING SERVICE OF <br />THE LAKE ELMO LIONS CLUB. <br />M/S/P Conlin/Johnston - to proclaim the month of August, 1996 as Lions Month. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />B. Appointments to Planning Commission <br />The City has received two applications, Kevin Herber, 4580 Birchbark Trail N., and Timothy Mandel, 2479 <br />Lisbon Avenue, to fill the one vacancy on the Planning Commission, that of the second alternate. An <br />attendance record indicated Todd Mathison has missed more than 50% of the meetings and Tom <br />Armstrong has missed more than 40%, and three that have missed three consecutive meetings. <br />M/S/P Conlin/Hunt- to direct the staff to send a letter to Todd Mathison and Tom Armstrong and ask for <br />comments in relation to it they wish to continue actively on the Planning Commission; state options If he's <br />unable to make the regular meetings he would best serve as an alternate, or if he feels his attendance <br />can be improved to continue on as a full -voting member of the commission, or If he feels it might be <br />better to resign. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />
