CITY COUNCIUMAC MEETING MINUTES <br />JULY 1, 1996 <br />PRESENT: Bill Wacker, Dick Johnson, Bud Talcott, Dick Gustafson <br />City Council Members: Wyn John, Lee Hunt, Steve DeLapp <br />Others: Dean Johnson, Otto VanDemmeltraadt <br />Mayor John called the meeting to order at 7:06 p.m. in the council chambers. <br />Mr. Johnson recapped the meeting of June 22, 1996. He reviewed the modifications made to the plan <br />after the meeting. Modifications have been since the last meeting. <br />Steve DeLapp questioned the orientation of the lunch room versus the office. Discussion followed <br />regarding the access of the office space. <br />Dean reviewed the site plan. The plan indicates that the storage area has been cut in half. A salt <br />storage shed will be separate. <br />Steve DeLapp questioned why thestorage yard is separate from the access/circulation area. Mr. <br />Johnson stated that the area could be consolidated. It was divorced for aesthetic purposes. <br />GRADING PLAN: <br />Mr. Johnson reviewed the grading plan. Dick Johnson questioned the berms and the drainage pattern. <br />The drainage patterns remain the same. <br />LANDSCAPE PLAN: <br />The landscape plan was reviewed. Bud Talcott questioned the areas where the berm will be built. Mr. <br />VanDemmeltraadt questioned the runoff from the berm to the west. Wyn John agreed to these concerns. <br />Dean Johnson stated that the berm could be shifted to the northeast so the drainage would be directed <br />east.
