LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES SEPTEMBER 17.1996 <br />water utility billing. Council member Conlin suggested the software for the water utility billing be charged <br />against the Water Fund. <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Johnston - to purchase two computers as presented and up to $1500 for software with the <br />total cost not to exceed $8,000; conditioned upon the Finance Director's approval these purchase Items <br />do fit into the budget. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />B. Reschedule November 5, 1996 Meeting <br />The November 5, 1996 Council meeting falls on the same day as the General Election. The law requires <br />that the City meet within three days of the election to canvass the local election results. The staff <br />recommended that the Council meeting be rescheduled for Thursday, November 7, 1996 at 7:00 p.m. <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Hunt - to reschedule the November 5, 1996 Council meeting to November 7, 1996, at 7:00 <br />p.m, at which time the Council will include the canvassing of local election returns. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />Council member Conlin will not be able to attend the November 7, 1996 meeting as she has a class. <br />C. Resignation of Karen Wandmacher from Cable Commission <br />The City received a letter form Karen Wandmacher resigning as Lake Elmo's representative to the Cable <br />Commission, as she no longer lives in the area. <br />M/S/P Conlin/Johnston - to appoint Ginny Holder as the City's representative to the Ramsey/Washington <br />Counties Cable Commission and request staff to send a letter to Karen Wandmacher thanking her for her <br />services.
