Lake Elmo City Council Meeting lviinutes March 18, 1997 <br />page 5 <br />The reason the Council refused to second the motion was in appreciation of Dick Johnson's good <br />work and the city's desire that he would continue. <br />City Administrator was directed to send a letter of refusal of his resignation to Dick Johnson and <br />request re -consideration . <br />B. The City Administrator said Washington County has asked for a Bill which would make it <br />mandatory that they approve all plats bordered by County Roads and no building permits be <br />issued without County approval. The Administrator said she feels this is just another tool for <br />_ disgruntled residents to oppose development and put pressure on the County. She said the <br />problems are not definitive and the bottom line is, try to work things out. <br />13.
