2. MINUTES: November 4, 1997 <br />M/S/P Dunn/DeLapp — to appoint Wyn John, Mary Kueffner, Todd Williams, and Tom Prew to serve on <br />the Advisory Committee relative to the South Washington County Interceptor Facility Plan. (Motion <br />passed 5-0). <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Conlin — to approve the November 4, 1997 City Council minutes as amended. (Motion <br />passed 4-0-1:Abstain:Hunt) <br />MINUTES: November 18, 1997 <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Hunt — to approve the November 18, 1997 City Council minutes as amended. (Motion <br />passed 4-0-1:Abstain:Conlin) <br />3. CLAIMS <br />Claim #6504 Sewage Treatment Workshop at University of Minnesota: The Council raised the question <br />who is attending the sewage treatment workshop. An invite was extended to the staff person attending the <br />workshop to present an update at a Council meeting. <br />M/S/P Conlin/Hunt — to approve the December 2, 1997 Claims #6489 through #6528, as presented. <br />(Motion passed 5-0). <br />4. PUBLIC INFORMATIONALANOUIRIES: <br />A. Public Inquiries: NONE <br />B. Presentation to City by Linda Wagner, Lake Elmo Jaycees <br />On Behalf of the Lake Elmo Jaycees, Linda Wagner presented the City with a travelling trophy of a <br />wooden bat to keep until next year, During Huffn Puff Days, the Lake Elmo Business Assoc. played the <br />Jaycees in a softball game and won the game. <br />C. Bob Slater, MnDOT Forester <br />Bob Slater and Bob Rick, MnDOT, gave a presentation on the MnDOT Landscaping Partnership Program <br />The presentation consisted of a slide presentation explaining the Partnership Program, eligibility, benefits, <br />success, and how to avoid potential problems. Training classes will be held the last week in February and <br />the first week in March. <br />D. Thank you letter from the City of Dellworth <br />Mayor John received a letter from the City of Dellworth thanking Lake Ehno for its flood relief donation <br />Dellworth used the funds to help construct a dike. <br />5. CONSENT AGENDA: <br />A. Escrow Reduction: Tamarack Farm Estates <br />In his letter dated November 24, 1997, Tom Prow reported the developer has completed grading, and street <br />work through the bituminous base course. Prow recommended the City reduce the letter of credit for <br />Tamarack Farm Estates to $54,850.00. <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Hunt—to approve the escrow reduction for Tamarack Farm Estates to $54,850.00 based on <br />the City Engineer's recommendation. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />B. One -Day Charitable Gambling License for School of the Transfiguration <br />The School of the Transfiguration, 935 Ferndale St. N., Maplewood, MN, requested the State of Minnesota <br />issue a one -day (February 9, 1998) off -site gambling license. The School of the Transfiguration wishes to <br />sell raffles at the Lake Elmo Inn located at 3442 Lake Elmo Avenue. <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Hunt — to adopt Resolution No. 97-65, A Resolution approving the issuance of a charitable <br />gambling license by the State of Minnesota to the School of the Transfiguration.
