11. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />A. Budget Information for December 3, 1997 Hearing <br />Administrator Kueffner asked that the Council review the budget information submitted by the Finance <br />Director. If they have any questions, the members should call give Marilyn or a Mary. <br />B. Legal Fees Update <br />Administrator Kueffner asked that the Council postpone discussion on the Legal Fees Update until she <br />could discuss the submitted figures with the Finance Director. <br />C. Request from League of Minnesota Cities to support legislation on Mobile Homes <br />The Council received a memo, sample resolution and statement of policy from the League of Minnesota <br />Cities regarding Mobile Home Parks. As noted in the resolution the State of Minnesota has assumed <br />responsibility for the regulation of mobile home parks. Because the City has very little control over mobile <br />home parks, with the exception of some code violations, Administrator Kueffner recommended that the <br />Council support this effort. <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Conn — to adopt Resolution 97-67 supporting Minnesota Department of Health Study of <br />Mobile Home Parks, and to direct the staff to send copy of resolution to each member of the various <br />committees as noted in the league memo dated November 17, 1997. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />D. Volunteer Appreciation Party <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Hunt — to direct the staff to move ahead with a plan for a Volunteer Appreciation Party on <br />Friday, January 30, 1998 at the Elmo Lounge. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />E. Ground Breaking <br />The Ground Breaking for East Metro Health is scheduled for December 9, 1997 at Noon.
