11. UNFNISHED BUSINESS: <br />J. Invite Jolene Servatius MnDOT to workshop to discuss concerns on speed, lights, and limited <br />access on Highway 36. <br />12. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />A. Criminal Prosecution Fines <br />Administrator Kueffner provided a cost comparison of criminal prosecution services in Washington <br />County. In his letter dated May 18, 1999, Attorney Filla offered comments on City Council's review of <br />Prosecution costs. Council member Armstrong asked if he automatically opened a case for each different <br />person listed? Attorney Filla responded there are open files for people who have already appeared in court <br />or reporting directly to the Sheriff. It would save the City money if it did not want a detailed monthly <br />report <br />The Council postponed action until Attorney Filla can go over the procedure on consolidation of services <br />with another community. <br />B. Report for Water Governance Study/Washington County Minnesota <br />Administrator Kueffner provided the Council a copy of the above reference report, including notice of <br />public meeting to be held before the County Board on Tuesday, June 1, 7:00 p.m. to discus the plan and to <br />receive comments. A Work Group, representing all interests in water management prepared this report. <br />The group was charged to identify and evaluate the best governance structure for water management from a <br />countywide perspective. The Council was asked to forward their comments or concerns to the City <br />Planner.
