11. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: <br />Data Processing Hardware for Maintenance Dept <br />Planner Dillerud reported he would be coming back with a revised proposal for data processing hardware <br />for the Maintenance Dept. The Council indicated the software should be user friendly. It is not their intent <br />to have the Maintenance Foreman sit in front of a computer for 8 hours a day. <br />Upgrade of City Hall: <br />Council member DeLapp asked that the plans for remodeling City Hall be resurrected now that the <br />Baytown/Lake Elmo consolidation question has been voted upon. <br />12. NEW BUSINESS: <br />13. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />A. Personnel Policy <br />Administrator Knottier provided the Council with an updated City Personnel Policy. The Council was <br />asked to review the policy and raise any questions or concerns they may have prior to the July 6`n Council <br />meeting, unless the Council wants to adopt the Policy at the July 20 meeting. <br />B. Cable Franchise Agreement POSTPONED <br />C. Cat Ordinance POSTPONED <br />D. 1999 Agreement for Curbside Recycling Grant Distribution <br />The Council received a copy of the 1999 Agreement for Curbside Recycling Grant Distribution with <br />Washington County. One change the County has made is "commencing July 1, 1999, all solid waste <br />generated by city/township government activities (including city/town halls, public works buildings, parks, <br />etc.) shall be delivered to the Ramsey/Washington County Resource Recovery Facility in Newport for <br />disposal." This provision is not currently in our code, but the Solid Waste Advisory Commission <br />recommended similar language. The City Administrator provided an ordinance amending Section 800 to <br />include that provision. <br />M/S/P Armstrong/Dunn - to approve the 1999 Memorandum of Agreement for Curbside Recycling Grant <br />Distribution with Washington County. (Motion passed 4-0). <br />M/S/P Armstrong/DeLapp - to adopt Ordinance No. 9746, An Ordinance adding Section 800.02, Subd. 6.6, <br />to the Lake Elmo Municipal Code.
