Planner Dillerud will meet with Calthorpe, 10 a.m., Met Council building <br />11. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: <br />A. Administrator Kueffner sent a letter to Jim Peterson, developer of Stonegate, requesting money for the <br />Stonegate Trails. <br />C. Administrator Kueffner eliminated Item C. Agreement with OPH for grading and snowplowing east half <br />of 55' St. <br />F. Jolene Servatius, MnDOT, may not be as cooperative because of money cuts and reluctance to put in a <br />new flasher on Hwy 5 and school zone. The Council asked that we invite our legislators, Peg Larsen, to <br />take our case up with her. The Council will get its issues to Mary for discussion. <br />12 NEW BUSINESS: <br />13. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />A. Follow -Up on Budget Workshop <br />The Council received a memo on Washington County's tax capacity rate and found out our valuation is <br />higher so our tax capacity would be lowered. The Council felt there is no need for a workshop and was <br />pleased with letter. <br />M/S/P Siedow/DeLapp — that a budget workshop will not be necessary, but at the budget hearing the <br />Council will do a line by line on Tuesday, November 300'. (Motion passed 5-0.) <br />B. Support Information on Helmo Avenue <br />Administrator Kueffner will get back to the Council with a date for a workshop with Oakdale to talk about <br />Hoban Avenue and long term water agreement. <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Siedow — to direct the staff to set up a workshop with the City of Oakdale to talk about <br />issues; such as Helmo Avenue and if there is interest for a long term water agreement. (Motion passed 5-0.) <br />C. Set up Workshop with Stillwater Investment <br />Administrator Kueffner has been in discussion with Stillwater Investment to get them to the table to discuss <br />their proposed plan with the Council. They have presented more than what was expected. The <br />Administrator would like the Council to sit down and talk to John Arkell and explain our City's <br />philosophy. <br />M/S/P Armstrong/DeLapp - to direct the staff to set up a workshop for Saturday, 9 a.m. with Stillwater <br />Investment. (Motion passed 5-0.) <br />D. Update on Comprehensive Plan <br />Council member Dunn asked for a verbal update on the comp plan. Planner Dillerud responded the <br />Planning Commission has completed the land use and finished policy section.
