MINUTES APPROVED: NOVEMBER 15, 1994 <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />NOVEMBER 1, 1994 <br />Mayor John called the council meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers. <br />PRESENT: Mottaz, Conlin, John, Johnston, Johnson, City Engineer Bohrer, City <br />Attorney Filla and Administrator Kueffner. <br />1. AGENDA <br />ADD: 5C. Arabian Hills, 7B. Negotiations with Oakdale, 8B. Ray Boche drainage <br />problem, 11A. Set meeting date to canvass election results <br />M/S/P Conlin/John - to approve the November 1, 1994 council agenda as amended. <br />(Motion passed 5-0). <br />2. MINUTES: October 4, 1994 <br />M/S/P Johnston/Johnson - to table the October 4, 1994 council minutes until the <br />November 15, 1994 meeting. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />MINUTES: October 18, 1994 <br />M/S/P Johnson/Conlin - to approve the October 18, 1994 council minutes as amended. <br />(Motion passed 5-0). <br />3. CLAIMS <br />M/S/P Johnston/Conlin - to approve the November 1, 1994 claims #3177 through <br />#3202 as presented, excluding Claim #3203 Minnesota Playground, Inc. because the <br />playground equipment installation has not been completed. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />4. Joni Chavez - Presentation of Benefit Proceeds to the family of Tim <br />Jones <br />A check of $7,071 was presented to the family of slain St.Paul police officer and Lake <br />Elmo resident Timothy Jones. A benefit was held on October 2 to raise funds for the <br />Jones family. Jone's widow, Roxanne, thanked the organizers and the community for <br />their great gesture. Mayor John thanked the event organizer, Joni Chavez and <br />everyone involved, for putting the benefit together in such a timely fashion. <br />5. PUBLIC INFO RMATIONAUINQUIRIES: <br />A.
