C.4 The EMPLOYER shall make reasonable adjustments to the <br />workloads of employee representatives of the UNION who <br />receive paid time off for UNION related activities <br />under the provisions of subsections A, B, and C, above. <br />D. Non-employee business representatives of the UNION as <br />previously designated to the EMPLOYER as provided herein <br />may, with concurrence of the EMPLOYER, come on the premises <br />of the EMPLOYER for the purpose of investigating and <br />presenting grievances. <br />E. The UNION may use the EMPLOYERS facilities for UNION <br />business with prior approval of the EMPLOYER. <br />F. The EMPLOYER agrees to allow the UNION to use designated <br />bulletin boards for the purpose of posting notices of UNION <br />meetings, UNION elections, UNION election returns, UNION <br />appointments to office, UNION recreational and social <br />affairs, arbitration awards, decisions of the Bureau of <br />Mediation Services and the courts, and other items <br />authorized by signature of union officers. All posted <br />materials must be UNION publication or legibly signed by an <br />authorized UNION officer. <br />G. Nothing in this AGREEMENT shall be construed to affect the <br />status of veterans in contravention of existing veterans <br />preference laws relating to the employment, discharge or <br />promotion of veterans. <br />H. The EMPLOYER shall allow officially designated union <br />officers a 20 -minute period within the new employee <br />orientation period to brief new bargaining members on the <br />union and to provide a copy of this AGREEMENT and any other <br />official materials authorized by union officers. <br />ARTICLE 5: MEET AND CONFER <br />At least once each month or as often as mutually agreed upon, the <br />parties will meet and confer to discuss non-negotiable items such <br />as health and safety, work rules and procedures, and other items <br />which are mutually agreed upon. <br />ARTICLE 6: SENIORITY <br />A. Seniority is an employee's length of service for the <br />EMPLOYER from the most recent date of employment, re- <br />employment or reinstatement. <br />6 <br />
